Base Shipping Coverage: Our standard shipping is included in the purchase price and covers delivery to business addresses or freight depots/terminals within the contiguous United States (Lower 48). This does not encompass residential deliveries, lift gate services, or shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations.
Business Deliveries Explained: To qualify as a “business” delivery site for freight carriers, the location must have fixed operating hours, staffed during these hours, and the ability to safely offload items. Farms or home businesses must meet these criteria to qualify.
Additional Shipping Services: Deliveries to residential addresses, farms, churches, schools, construction sites, or other specified locations incur extra charges. These costs will be communicated and billed separately prior to shipping.
Special Shipping Needs? If your shipping requirements fall outside our base coverage, including destinations in Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or abroad, please inform us. We’ll temporarily hold your order and promptly provide you with a customized shipping quote.
Freight Carrier Services: Our freight carriers may not offer complimentary pre-delivery notifications or call-ahead services. If required, lift gate services are available at an additional fee. It’s essential for someone to be present to unload pallets, as unattended deliveries may lead to extra charges. Please note, we cannot guarantee delivery times once an order leaves our warehouse; all shipping durations are estimates.
Tax Information: Purchases shipped within Minnesota or picked up at our warehouse are subject to state sales tax, unless exempt. Sales tax is not applied to orders shipped outside Minnesota.
Freight Damages and Lost Shipments
Damage During Transit: If your item arrives damaged, it’s crucial to note the damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) upon delivery. You’re also responsible for filing a claim with the freight carrier. Rest assured, we will support you by advocating with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Lost Shipments: If your order doesn’t arrive as expected, please contact us. We pride ourselves on prompt, accurate deliveries and will collaborate with the carrier to locate your order. Allow us up to two weeks for this process. Should the carrier confirm the loss, we will reship your order at no additional cost to you.
