Base Shipping Charges (included in purchase price) cover shipping to a business address or a freight depot/terminal to the Lower 48 ONLY. Base Shipping does not include residential delivery, lift gate services or Alaska or Hawaii. If you require unique shipping services, or live in Alaska, Hawaii, or other countries, please let us know, and we will hold your order and get back to you with an appropriate quote.
A “business” for freight carriers must have posted hours, staff during these hours, and safe offload capabilities. Farms or home businesses don’t qualify unless they meet these criteria.
Additional charges apply for delivery to residential areas, farms, churches, schools, construction sites, or other limited areas. These will be quoted and billed separately before shipment.
Freight carriers may not provide free prior delivery notifications or guaranteed call-ahead services. Lift gate service is available for an extra cost if used.
A recipient must be present to unload pallets to avoid additional carrier fees. We can’t control delays once a shipment leaves our warehouse. All shipping times are estimates.
Transactions shipped within Minnesota or picked up at our warehouse are subject to state sales tax unless exempted. We don’t charge sales tax for transactions shipped outside of Minnesota.
Freight Damages and Lost Shipments
We rely on timely, accurate, and secure shipping on a daily basis; therefore, we have partnered with shipping carriers that we trust to do the job correctly. In the rare case of receiving an item that has been damaged during transit, it is your responsibility to note any and all damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL), upon delivery.
You will also be responsible for filing a freight claim with the carrier. We will do everything we can on our part, to be an advocate on your behalf and assist in negotiating with the carrier to correct the situation.
In the rare case of a lost shipment, please notify us if you have not received your order in a timely manner. We stock most items that we advertise and sell, and pride ourselves on prompt, accurate shipments. If your order has been lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to find it. Please give us up to two weeks to notify the carrier of the issue and to locate your order. If after exhausting all avenues and verifying with the carrier that your order is indeed lost, we will reship your order to you at no cost.
